Reliable release action is a must

Manufacturers of automotive glass use fibre glass mesh or steel mesh as part of the forming process of windscreens and side windows.
This is to prevent the hot glass pane (at approx 550 °C) from baking onto its supports. At the same time, a high degree of accuracy of the curvature has to be maintained. The enamel colour applied to the edge must not adhere to the mesh.
